Moby Releases New Album Through Fake Trump Press Release

Moby shared his new album via a satirical White House press release.

It's the second album to come from Moby's band, Void Pacific Choir, following last fall's LP, These Systems Are Failing. The announcement came in the form of a fake press release by John Miller, a publicist that Donald Trump invented in the 1980s to speak to reporters on the phone. (The Washington Post published the transcript of a tape of Trump pretending to be Miller while speaking to a reporter for People magazine.)

"The first album they released is very noisy, as is this second album, just see the title, pretty clear," the press release reads. More Fast Songs About The Apocalypse lands about six months after Moby allegedly declined the Trump administration's request to perform at his inauguration.
