House Pioneer Lil Louis To Release Six New Albums

The house pioneer will preview new material at Ministry Of Sound in London next week.

The Chicago house music pioneer, real name Louis Burns, is best known for his 1989 classic "French Kiss." He hasn't released much music in the past few years, but apparently, has more than 1500 unreleased tunes. He'll release some of that music in a series of six albums starting this year.

The new material will get an airing at a listening party at Ministry Of Sound in London on Thursday, June 15th. That event will feature commentary from Burns in between songs. The event will be recorded and then streamed later in the month, on June 29th. The as-yet-untitled records are Burns' first since 2012.
