Depeche Mode will headline the BBC's 6 Music Festival 2017 taking place in Glasgow between the 24th and 26th of March.
The festival, which is organized into three distinct categories, will take place at venues across the city. 6 Music Festival Late will feature DJ performances by the likes of Jungle and Optimo at SWG3 on the evening of Sunday the 25th from 11pm-3am. 6 Musical Festival By Day, featuring Father John Misty, celebrates live music, conversation, spoken word, and comedy at the Tramway on both Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th, from 11am-5pm.
6 Music Festival By Night will take place in three venues- O2 Academy, St Luke's, and the historic Barrowland Ballroom, which since 1934 has been a favored dance hall and concert venue with renowned headliners such as Oasis, U2, The Clash, and Muse. Depeche Mode's performance on the final night of the festival will not only be their first live UK performance together since 2013, but their first return to the Barrowland Ballroom since their Some Great Reward our in 1984.
